Good Morning!

So today I checked my email and I got a email from NVC telling me that my case send to the US Embassy in Ankara. I went to the their website Ceac and and it say. ((your case send to US embassy and the interview date was provided to you by the NVC))) . But I did not get interview date in the email from the NVC. Any help??

And what is the next step?

Note I will attach the photo from the CEAC20211015_091705.thumb.jpg.57fb1c5f3d0c0e56f882e4dfee1340d1.jpg

K-1s normally schedule their own interview after the case is ready at the consulate.  Did you have an approved expedite?

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Then, you will probably have to wait, then schedule your own interview.

This is a default message from NVC when they send any case to the embassy.  It does not apply to K-1's.  Your embassy should email the beneficiary with instructions to complete the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, schedule the medical and schedule the interview.  They should also provide a list of what the beneficiary should bring to the interview.

P.S. @Dreamoflife,

@JojoandTomas created a great FAQ for NOA2 to NVC to Embassy FAQ.  For you, jump to Page 9, Item 15.

  • Once your case arrives at the Embassy, and your case is set to the "ready" condition, you can schedule your medical and interview.
  • It's time to move over to your country/regional forum here on VJ to ask more specific questions concerning the steps needed to take once your case is at the Embassy. (step 18)

Does anyone know generally how much time after Case Status becomes "Ready" the embassy emails the beneficiary with those next steps (packet 3) ?

Removal of Conditions (I-751)
2/17/24: I-751 packet shipped via FedEx

2/20/24: I-751 packet delivered

2/22/24: Receipt Number available on USCIS Portal

2/27/24: Extension Letter Available Online, Biometric Re-use letter, "Case is being actively reviewed"

When the case arrives to the Embassy, what should I do next? Should let my fiancée filling out the Ds160 or just wait?

We have all documents ready should I upload or just wait?
