I just checked the uscis website and it says touched again 07/07/2007. I received the e-mail 07/03 saying it was approved and they would mail the approval. Why would it be touched again? How long does it take to get the letter saying they approved it. How long befor my packet gets to manila? Will I receive aanything from manila? How long till my fiancee receives notice? Lots of questions I know, any help would be great. Thanks

How about using the timelines to get an idea of how long.

USCIS can touch the case many times after approval, "Pack and send to NVC", "Put file into storage", "Answer NVC questions" etc...

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.

Larry, First off, Just want to say hi from a displaced western NY'r. I'm from Rochester originally. Now to your questions....
Why would it be touched again?
Most likely because they have moved your application somewhere that it will be forwarded to the NVC. I'm not 100% sure but my application was the same way. Approved one day, the next touched again. I wouldn't worry too much about it.
How long does it take to get the letter saying they approved it.
I believe you are referring to the NOA2. Check my timeline to see how long it took (about 2 months!) http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=12680
How long befor my packet gets to manila?
Probably about 2 weeks. Again, check my timeline.
Will I receive aanything from manila? How long till my fiancee receives notice?
No. You will receive a letter from the NVC that has your MNL case number on it and the dates they received it. You can call them to find out when the information was forwarded to the Embassy in Manila. Your fiance will receive a packet from the embassy (6 or 7 weeks after approval) that will have instructions for her for the medical and interview.
