humanitarian parole fee

hello,

 

i am filing humanitarian parole for a family of 5, i am aware i need to do a separate form for each person. 

 

i was going to submit the waiver fee, do i have to do 1 waiver fee for EACH family member, even though i am sending there forms in one package? also, it says on the form, information about you(requestor), is that me the petitioner or the beneficiary?

The fee waiver form asks you to list each person and each form you're requesting the fee to be waived. So one I-912 for all members of the family; each of them needs to sign the fee waiver form.

life saver, also, there is only like 4 lines to fill out addtl people and forms. where do i put other peoples names and form?

 

also, question about requestor, is that me the petitioner?

The "Additional information" page. 

 

And there is no petitioner. Are you traveling with them?

i am the petitioner filing for them, they are in afghanistan so thus why i am filing for them.

There is no petitioner, they are the beneficiaries and you are the preparer. 

Are you sponsoring them?

Requestor is the person requesting a fee waiver for a petition or application they are filing. The application is the advance parole, which they are applying for, not you as you are not traveling.

I have heard that quite a few fee waiver requests are being rejected and of course it delays the process.

 

Some Lawyers will not takes requesting fee waivers. Sort of contradicts the ability to sponsor.

so none of my info as the sponsor is really needed on the fee waiver form? it is all about them and there family?

Yes, just them. They are the ones applying for the advance parole and therefore, the fee waiver.

got it lastly, the only place my name is mentioned is preparer part as well as Affidavit of Support correct?

That depends. Will you provide financial support to all the beneficiaries while they are in the US for the duration of the parole authorization period?

that is the intention yes. of course they will work but yes i am filing myself affidavit of support for all them

Then you're the sponsor in the affidavit.

 

Btw, USCIS gives the option of writing a letter instead of filing the I-912. It must include all the necessary information that states your request for a fee waiver, must be signed by everyone requesting the fee waiver, and must include all the necessary supporting evidence.
