My wife and I just got married and she changed her last name to my last name on our Marriage Certificate.

On the I-485 does she now use her new last name (family name) on the application?

Yes if that is the name she now wishes to use.... make sure you put her maiden name in the space where it says Other Names Used....

Congrats on the wedding

That is what we did, if you don't and then change mind later, you would have to file I-90 and pay extra $$ to get it changed in the green-card.

She must use your last name and put her family name(before marriage) as other name/s used. Congrats.

There's no place on the I-485 to put Previous Names used. Can someone point me in the right direction?
