Hi everyone!!!  I have questions in regards to transferring my Fiancé's k1 visa case from one country to another. The original country is Haiti and we were thinking about getting his case transferred from Haiti to the Dominican Republic. He currently has a visa for the Dominican Republic and has spent over 90% of this year there, and is renting an apartment there at the moment. He does not have permanent residency though but can obtain it. We are due for or NOA 2 by November 2nd. We wanted to know if it is at all possible to request a transfer and if it is how we would go about doing it.

After you get your NOA-2 and get the NVC case number.... contact the Dominican embassy and let them know you want to get your case transferred. You will also have to put a request in to NVC who eventually will ask the Dominican embassy and transfer the case.
