We were vaccinated at our local Rite-Aid by the pharmacist herself. I think it really depends on where you are, sad to say. I know our pharmacist and while she's a little bristly at times she's also great with advice and always takes time to talk through new medications with me. 

 

There's a CVS at the end of our block that was also offering jabs and I passed, even though the Rite Aid was a mile away as opposed to 400 ft away. I know what they're like in there. Competent at the cash register, some of the time.

I get my flu and corona vaccine at the local drug store.  I often wondered, are they trained in ACLS if someone went into shock and coded. Of course there is a minute clinic with a Nurse Practitioner next to it.

The sexiness is beside the point. Simple medical malpractice. The system is set up to handle such disputes. Sue, get compensated for out of pocket expenses and pain and suffering. If the kid got an adult dose of another vaccine leading to harm it's the same result. No need to get maudlin, Francis.
