Hello! I apologize sincerely to hear of your case. My fiancee has both a Karta Polaka and a Schengen Visa issued from Poland, the latter of which was accepted for Croatia. I understand that Poland has shut down most visa services and the border is effectively closed for the foreseeable future. Your fiancee's only way out, similar to mine, will be flying from Minsk to a third country (likely Istanbul) and then to somewhere else. Poland *will* let you in without a vaccine, so long as you quarantine for 10 days, but she still needs a visa and an invitation letter from the US Embassy is insufficient.

I think you have two problems here: 1) getting the vaccine and 2) getting to Warsaw for the interview. For the vaccine, Dubai was giving it, but I'm almost positive this is no longer the case. my thoughts to you is to google, in Russian, 'vaccine tour agencies' and see what comes up. That's how I discovered Croatia; there was literally nothing in English that helped. Also look up форум винского, they're very helpful on there as well. They confirmed the specific place in Zagreb that would give the vaccine, but there were many others trying different routes, granted most of them were within Europe.

For your second problem, getting to Warsaw specifically, you're definitely going to need *some* Schengen Zone visa, even if it's not a Polish one. Are there any Schengen member embassies in Minsk currently processing tourist visas? You can always, say, get a Greek one for vacation purposes, spend some time there, and then fly to Poland for the interview. Granted it's a huge pain, but better than the humanitarian visa and risking everything I guess.

If I was you I'd focus on getting a visa first, as that would also solve your problems with the vaccine. But again, I'm fairly certain Dubai stopped vaccinating and the people perpetuating that rumor have bad information from April.

Edit: Also Croatia did not require a vaccine or quarantine for entry. If you can somehow secure a Croatian visa (or one of the Schengen states), you will be fine. However, do note that because Croatia itself is not a Schengen Zone country, I don't believe you can actually continue on to Poland from Croatia with a Croatian visa.

Actually there's light at the end of the tunnel it seems. While Poland has locked the land border, it's only at Kuznica at the moment.

I just read on a couple of Belarusian forums and news, it is possible to enter Poland on a medical visa, for vaccination.

I'm putting this out for other Belarusians out there who might need this.

The site is https://edoktorzy.pl/

The site's in Polish but Google translate'll do the job. Basically you schedule a vaccination appointment with a Polish doctor and they will write up a letter saying you need vaccination. This can then be used to get a short-term Shengen visa to enter Poland and get vaccinated. The vaccination itself is free when using this service through above site.

The only additional issue is that my adopted daughter will need a vaccine, she's 13, but the only one she can get is Pfizer, since Jannsen has an 18+ age requirement.

So I'll have to travel there twice in any case.

I'll update here once I find out more details.

Yes; for Poland you do need a doctor's referral, but the process is quite confusing and many Russians were commenting that Polish doctors wouldn't give it to them. Definitely see if you can find someone in Bialystok, perhaps your fiancee knows of a person who knows of a person already there? Never underestimate the power of Belarusians to have friends in unusual places. :)

But if the land border is to remain shut for whatever reason, she can fly through Istanbul. Do know that the quarantine is mandatory on the way back, though, as Belarus only considers you fully vaccinated after a certain period following your last dose (even if Janssen).

Interesting. Well perhaps to Russians they didn't give, but Belarusians they like a lot more :)

I read in 2 pretty big newspaper sites here (mtbank blog being one and s13 being the other) of a step by step guide on how to do this through a medical visa.

But, you're right, we have friends in Warsaw who can most likely get in contact with a local doctor there.

We'll probably end up staying in Poland for a month though, all because of my daughter. She's almost 14, she can't get the Janssen shot because it's 18+, but she has to be vaccinated. So the only one they'll give her is the Pfizer one, which is a 2 step vaccine. So instead of traveling there twice and having to wait 10 days in each case, we'll just stay there for a month. Thankfully I can do this as I work online.

A small update I wanted to post. The easiest and fool proof method right now to get a Shengen visa into Poland for Belarusians, is to apply for a humanitarian visa. If filing in Minsk, no questions asked. 365 day visa issued in ~10 days. You can easily go back to Poland and back. If staying in Poland for < 24 hours, you don't need to quarantine. A bus ticket back to Belarus is enough to show to the Straz Graniczny (Polish border guards) to be let out.
