Hi everyone. I just found this thread. Going through the thread because I realized it's been a month since our NOA2 (10/01) and I haven't heard anything yet. My fiance received the NOA2 by mail on 10/13 and we haven't heard since. I'm guessing it really does depend where the beneficiary is from. We have a lot of backlog in the Philippines so we are just patiently waiting for when the next update would be.

Hey im also waiting as well. My embassy is not processing routine K1's but i just heard they will start in December. If your embassy is Manila you are looking at 1-2 years of backlog over there. Hopefully they speed up.

Tried calling NVC and they said to check for the case number online. That they are not letting reps answer the phone due to high number of calls.
Does anyone know where online I can check if I have been assigned a case number or how to get through to a rep?

Well that's fun.  Did you call and the automated system said this?  If the system disconnects me, I just call right back and do that a few times until I get through.

If you can, try either calling at 7am Central standard Time or right now at 5:30pm Central standard time.  I called both times and was able to get to the queue for the next customer service rep.  I also called the nonimmigrant visa line versus the immigrant one.  I did not wait on the line for results as my plan is to call Wednesday after work (this same time) or Friday morning as I took that day as paid vacation to get myself licensed and the car registered in Texas.
Pretty much call at opening time or sometime in the evening  to get someone quick.  I think i called around 12pm Central last week and was still able to get someone (it was my lunch break).

Poland has requested our case from nvc yesterday!
but now we ran into another problem. In Russia we simply don’t have vaccines required to enter the USA. Today one of fiancés tried to do that but was denied boarding because visa says “non immigrant”.
it is frustrating

There has to be a contingency for beneficiaries from countries where the "approved" vaccinations are not available, Russia being a prime example.  My immigration lawyer mentioned something about there being a form to fill out saying that within a certain number of days they will be vaccinated here after arrival.  I don't know the details yet.

Received our case # today!!  Called NVC and they said "we assigned your case a case number, would you like it?"  I was like "yes sir!"  He said "yeah the beneficiary is usually excited about this also."  So yep, we have our KEV case number.  She does not know yet though so I will let her know for her morning.

Not yet!  When I checked after I called, it still said at NVC.  This is shipping week, right?  If so, then I think it will be there in December.
Yeah it wont post but today was the last day of this week.  I will see if it changes on the 23rd or 24th!
