needed to share my experience since it might being some peace to a few people! After going to the interview and not getting an approval I was very anxious and had a really bad time finding guidance online.

i had to wait a whole year to get my interview date scheduled for my I 751 (assuming because of COVID)… finally on August 5th I had my interview and I was not approved. They said they needed to check some things.

Today… finally after 2 months I received a notification that my card was being produced! No RFEs or second interviews!

A whole year?  My wife and I have been waiting since March of 2019.......

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you for sharing.  Glad it worked out good for you at the end.  All the best.

There might be something wrong with your case. Maybe the lost it. You should call them.

CC is a CR-1 filer. Also he lost the luck of the draw when it comes to local office for interview. Still an intolerably long wait for him and his wife.

Finally done...

What questions did they ask?
did you go together with your spouse or by yourself?
Did they say the reason why they denied?

Not sure where you're getting that it was denied.

Jointly submitted petitions require both spouses to be present.

I’m sorry I meant: do they usually say why they deny a case on spot?
Did you ever go to an I751 interview?
I heard of people that don’t have enough evidence and still get approved.
I’m just concerned if my separation would be a problem at the interview.
