Administrative processing can mean just about anything and can take from a week to months. All you can do is wait and keep calling regularly for updates.

Sorry to hear that your at NVC level with AP. AP can happen at any stage at it can mean your case was just one that is randomly picked for further review, a name hit has occured at this stage, etc. As Pushbrk mentioned there is no way of determining how long you will have AP so call them weekly for an update to see if your status changes.

Everything I respond to is from personal knowledge, research or experience and I am in no means a lawyer or do I claim to be one. Everyone should read, research and be responsible for your own journey.

Please keep a log and document when you call, ( date, time) and who you spoke with.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Same here, my case has been at the NVC for exactly 4 weeks and they also told me that it was under administrative processing, it's frustrating since I thought that my case was moving farly quick, now I don't know when it will expedite to the Usa embassy in Colombia, any suggestions?

Called again today, and still same answer, eventhough the person that answered told me that everyone goes thru a administrative process, and I should call back next wednesday, another thing that she told me is that there is no time frame for this situation, again it's very dsicouraging no to know what or when the papers are going to be sent to the bogota, I guess just got to keep waiting, anyone has any other info??
