My boyfriend travelled to the US on a tourist Visa and was supoose to travel back home(Guyana) on 3rd October but the night he was supoose to leave,he messaged and say he is not coming back. I am 5 months pregnant and he choose to just leave me and his unborn son. I need him back here to help out. I do not want my baby to grow up without a dad and I am just 21 years old. When i spoke to him about it, he said he is working and has a better life there. Please guys I really really really need your help.

Sorry that you are in a tough situation.

Unfortunately, there is very little you can do.

There isn't an immigration question here.  There's nothing you can do to bring him to the US.

You can sue for paternity when your son is born, but you will be giving him parental rights.

As mentioned before, there really isn't an Immigration question here so people will not be able to help you...

Which wouldn't make him go back to her and help.

Sounds like she thinks it would, I have no idea if that reflects reality.

I'll ask.  Exactly what kind of advice are you seeking?

Hi OP, so sorry you’re in this situation! This is an immigration forum and he chose to follow this path. There is little advice we can give you. I guess if it gives you peace of mind, you can get in touch with USCIS and tell them about the situation. I’m not sure you can do more than that.
Side question: are you sure you want this type of guy around your baby?

Sorry to say but I think you are better off without a boyfriend who doesn't want to face his responsibilities as a father.

As Carmel points out he hopefully can be held at least to the financial responsibilities.

Wonder if Guyana is strong on that and there is the proving paternity issue and his in in the US.
