Ceac says case refused but…

We had interview in Juarez, Mex on 08/26/2021. They didnt approve us and gave us a document they wanted more information on which we overnighted it back tk the consulate. I check the ceac status daily and it has said refused on there with the date updating about 7 times already. 
 

today my spouse received an email saying the consulate was over nighting something through DHL and we would be getting it either tomorrow or Friday. 
 

any idea as what it could be? The website still says refused but from what I’ve gathered on various groups and pages is that is not always accurate.

I have never heard of a visa being issued without the status also changing to "Issued", but I guess it could happen.  Please let us know what the consulate sent.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I am sorry to hear that.  Can you post a copy of the letter (marking out personal information)?  Why do you think the visa was denied?
