I applied for green card replacement and I really need identification to apply for drivers license. Can I use my old green card while waiting for the new one to be issues? If not, what options do I have?

Do you need to check the list of requirement on the DMV website from your state/city.

In some places they do not accept expired Green card. You need to call or check on the website.

good luck

Which form did you file? I-90 or I-751? Did you already receive a Receipt notice? Is your old card a 2-year GC or 10-year GC? What is the expiration date on that card?

I filed I-90 and did receive receipt but my State DMV required that I have new card or another form. I applied to replace it because I am now 17 years old but my dad just found out that we needed to replace my green card before my 14th birthday. The expiration date on my current card is October 2025.

Do you think I have some other option to show to DMV. Will USCIS give some sort of temporary document to use to get a driver license issued while the new one is being processed?

Only they can answer you that. Did you checked on the website?
