Got NOA1 and then a mail from uscis saying empty envelope received

Hi everyone, 

 

On 9/3/21 USCIS received our I-129F application, on 9/8/21 USCIS sent my fiancee NOA1 who is in the USA currently. So everything is smooth. Well, was smooth.

 

Today I got a mail from USCIS saying "An empty envelope was received with no contents." And attached with the mail there is just one facet of the envelope we sent.

 

The weird thing is this mail is dated 8/11/21. Which is nearly a month before we received NOA1.

 

It looks like somewhere along the processing they made a mistake and were like "uh oh, contents are here". That's what I hope. So my question is should we start freaking out? Anyone else had this happen to them?

My fiance is trying to contact USCIS representatives but no luck.

Truly weird. That mail is dated BEFORE they received your package. 🤨

If you think you've seen it all 🤦‍♀️ the only thing you can do is trying to get a Tier 2 on the phone to figure it out.
