So as of this morning, Oct 5 Manila time, my wife and stepdaughter attended thier interview at US Embassy Manila.  We are very cognitive of the importance of "visa in hand" and will reserve final celebration until that is the case, but the interview went well and they are verbally approved by the US Consul.   She had nothing but nice things to say about the Embassy staff and the Consul.  She felt there was a high level of professionalism there. She went in highly stressed and came out really feeling positive about the experience.

Oh, and then driving home MMDA traffic enforcers extorted P2k from her over some sort of lane violation.  ;-).  Got to love the Philippines.   I'm thinking if I was there I could have got that bribe down to P500 but I told her don't even sweat the P2k.  It's a good day 😁

Great news.

When we did our K1 visa interview a few years ago we were like the very last people in the room, I just sat on the front row and watched and listened to many interviews out of boredom.  Most of the CO's were fairly friendly and and seemed to be upbeat, I did notice one female who had a scrowl on her face.

Thankfully I didn't get here due to my past history in the Philippines and the US Embassy.   Our CO was very excited for us and told us we passed and asked if we had any questions, he was very nice guy and sure made my whole interview experience very pleasant.

Well the CEAC status changed to "issued" later the same day of the interview.   So 6 months, 27 days from filing I-130's to visa Issued.

😁

We're waiting for it to start tracking with 2GO now.

Pretty impressive timeline with a pandemic going on in the Philippines.

👍

Both passports just started tracking on 2GO.  It appears they are out of the Embassy and on their way.

Congratulations on the visas!

Was your wife asked to re-upload anything to CEAC?  I remember folks posting here some months back about being asked at the interview to re-scan and re-upload DQ-ed documents to CEAC.

Based upon what some other reported about having to re-upload stuff to CEAC, we decided to err on the side of caution and reupload any documents that weren't new copies.  Plus we pre-emptively uploaded Form 137 and Baptismal Certificate since her birth certificate is late registered, and Advisories on Marriage for both, plus PSA ROM.  We also uploaded a few pages of really good photos of us together, matching passport stamps, and some boarding passes of my frequent trips to the Philippines.  Relationship evidence that is not requested in CEAC but that we wanted reviewed.  We uploaded all that stuff after we were DQ and had an interview date.  It was almost certainly overkill and more than what was needed but the interview went well and CEAC status changed to issued the same day.  I do think it was looked at by the interviewer and probably beneficial.
