Rescheduled AOS Interview - no updates after 9+ months???

Last November, I got a notice for interview scheduled for December 30th 2020 for Form I-485. I could not attend due to being oversea, so I immediately requested for rescheduling an interview.

Since then, I haven't got any updated for new interview dates.

When I check my status on USCIS website, all updates I see is "On November 10, 2020, we scheduled an interview for your Form I-485......".

I've been calling USCIS every month to inquire about my status and they tell me that only way for me to get an update on the new interview date will be by mail. I've been waiting patiently but this is becoming a bit too long. Last time I called, I addressed how unusual this wait is, and the staff told me that she will have an upper office call me back within few days, and gave me a reference number. I never got any call back.

Folks who have rescheduled interview, is it normal to not see any updates on rescheduling on USCIS status check?

Has anyone ever experienced this unusual delay with rescheduling AOS interview?

I am also afraid if the mail has been missing...in that case how do I even find out, since I don't see any update on USCIS status check website?

Any advise will be appreciated. Thanks

Lucia

This might be a dumb question, but...did you apply for and receive you AP (Advanced Parole) before leaving the US?

Depending on your location it might take a while to get a new interview date. I am not sure how it works but probably they add you to the end of the current backlog? Might be wrong here... How long did you wait for the first interview?

big mistake to miss the interview. now you are back in the box for interview. it can take anywhere from 1 -2 years depending on how busy your ASC is

What's the estimated processing times for your LFO for I485 on the website?

Are you within the timeline or outside of normal processing times?
