Hey everybody!

Still trying to find more beneficiaries that their I-129 case was submitted to Vermont in or around May 2021 that still haven't heard back. My O-1B extension was filled in Vermont back in May and we haven't heard a single thing besides getting the receipt notice (NOA1) two week after filling.

Please let me know if you are a I-129 applicant in Vermont and haven't heard back even when the processing times for the case has passed (We are now 2 months behind and they are not responding to the inquiries we have submitted - 2 so far).

Thanks !

Hello Justin,

sorry to hear the delays. Have you or your attorney tried to call USCIS?
At the end of June, my attorney told me that the Vermont service center was moved to a different physical location and there were some mailing issues. So when we sent the rfe response in early July, my attorney called them to make sure they received my response since there was no updates on the website for many days.

I am not sure if it’s relevant to your posting but I hope this would help.
hope you can get the result very soon!

Hey there!

I just saw your response, thanks for sharing. My sponsor submitted two inquiries with USCIS that went unanswered so far. Checking my neighboring receipt numbers for I-129 forms that were submitted the same day, a lot of them were suddenly approved on October 8th, while mine and a few others still showing "Case Was Received'. It might just be a coincidence but my patience is really running out at this point. It's 5 months as of now, I'm considering requesting Premium Processing at the moment.

Thanks!

Just wanna give a quick update here in case somebody is experiencing the same thing:

My I-129 Case was approved today after almost exactly 6 months of processing in Vermont. No RFE, straight up approval. My sponsor submitted 2 online inquiries and called USCIS once before the approval came in. The original processing time on their website indicated that the case should be approved in up to 3 months.

So my take is that’s not much accurate and u gotta be patient.

Good luck!
