Hey everyone!

after having zero movement after filing I751 on 10/8/21, we filed for citizenship on 10/10/23, we were shocked at how quickly that process went tbh, I had the interview on 2/15, again we were shocked at how quickly that was (we checked in at 10.38am, waiting about 10 minutes for me to me called, hubs had to wait in the waiting room, and we walked out of the building at 11.20). The officer told me I had passed and he would put me forward for the oath ceremony. He also explained what would slow down the oath ceremony was the fact my green card was still pending, he told me he would work on that after we left. On the drive home, I got 2 separate notifications, one for N400 stating an oath ceremony letter would be mailed and another saying the I751 had moved jurisdiction (was originally at the Texas service center when we first filed, moved to Hartford on 2/15). On 2/16, multiple more notifications-oath ceremony letter mailed, and later that evening, notification that the I751 was finally approved-it made us laugh. So glad we’re almost at the finish line!
good luck to all those waiting and thank you to everyone who helped us on the way :)

That's fantastic, and Congratulations! It's exciting when those notifications start coming in like that, isn't it!

Just replying to post that I finally, finally got my new 10-year green card yesterday! It was rather anticlimactic, given that I found out I was approved on May 10th. I did receive an extension letter in October 2023 for my conditional residency card, which would have expired in early December that year.
