Sorry my bad 😔 i updated it now. I sent a change of address today to make sure thy have updated address

Since your online status doesn’t say approved or interview scheduled,  and since you’ve had biometrics, I will guess it was an RFE.

I just chatted with Emma live in USCIS webpage with two different people. They told me it was extension letter/ reciept notice. That is weird bcz i already have extension letter for me n my daughter both. Agent helped create a service request and asked me to wait 30 days anyways

Do you have 24 month or 18 month letters?

Happy July to my fellow October filers! Hope everyone is hanging in there. Just wanted to share an emotional moment I had a few days ago.

Logged on to USCIS to check my case status and it showed “Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office.” After about two minutes of elation I read further and saw it was delivered on February 17th.

Now, I’m panicking because I’ve been working nonstop the last few months and my husband didn’t tell me I got any mail from USCIS. And I can’t call him to ask (yell) him what’s going on cause he’s at work.

5 minutes after worrying about how I’m going to track this down with the Post Office, I logged on to my Lawfully app, only to find out I’m still stuck at “Fingerprints Was Taken.

After another 5 minutes of checking, it turns out I entered my Receipt Number correctly, EXCEPT for the LAST NUMBER!!!!!! SMH. I fell back to earth damn quick after that realization.

Guess I know what it will feel like when I get my approval lol. Happy 9 months everyone! We’ll get through this.

On a positive note though, Congrats to that filer who got approved in February!

24 months. I know i asked same question to agent - why another notice when we already hav it 😕

Doesn’t make sense.  You likely spoke a tier 1 officer and they don’t know much.

I have a question and I'm just throwing it out there.  Did it ever occur to people that Doublepike is full of it?  Spewing out something that didn't really happen?  This is all on the honor system, no proof required.  I would say the majority on VisaJourney are legit and honest about their statuses but this person could be someone with just enough knowledge of the immigration process and the VisaJourney website to be dangerous.  He/She could be among that small percentage who got rejected at some point by the USCIS and is here to exact revenge out of spite.

And before you question what I'm saying, asking why would anybody do this, ask if humans are always rational.  Sometimes people do things just to get under someone's skin.  If this person does in fact exist, is legit and did get an I-751 approval in record time then congrats.  However, I just thought I'd ask the question.

Well that was rather a weird assumption and accusation. Been here since 2019 just like everyone else. 😬56695EBC-9F4D-4819-8734-D2A56783D037.thumb.jpeg.066df2bae9baabe29e3ce5cef4364048.jpeg

So finally after requesting address change twice and sending a letter by post to USCIS. They said they have updated the address for my daughter in thr system 😏 and today i got the notice which earlier showed was returned back to USCIS bcz address was not correct according to them. Anyways i have received a receipt notice for my daughter and it was not a RFE (thank God)

Still weird they sent me two notices for her and both of them have 24 months validity.

Hi, can we file for citizenship if we only have an expired green card and 24months extension letter? Thank you

Yes. You can file in October 2022 assuming your green card expired January 2022 as it did for most people following this thread.  This assumes that you have been married for 3 years to a U.S. citizen and living with that citizen the entire time.

Be aware that if your FO is Seattle this can slow down your I-751.  This might be true of other FOs

We plan to file N-400 October. My goodness, less than 3 months.  It is the beginning of the end of the journey.

This actually chokes me up a little. We're filing at the end of September and it will be the end of this frustrating, expensive, long, and completely wonderful journey!

Thank you for your response Mike! That’s good news. My husband can apply this August for his citizenship. I hope the process will be faster 🙏🏻
