Hello All,

Preparing to mail our I-751 package out tomorrow.  I have a couple of questions...

1) Do we need to include petitioner's A-number on every page of evidence we submit including photos??  I've heard some folks have done this but not sure it's necessary.

2) We have a ton of financial evidence to submit, but we do not have a joint bank account.  Should we include an explanation of why we don't use a joint account in the cover letter or just provide the other evidence?

Thanks!

I would include it.  Say the reason is every bank you’ve tried denied the conditional LPR an account and you’ve evidence of the denials.  That would be compelling

If I am not mistaken, but, I heard that just having kids qualifies you for approval. Nothing proves the marriage was entered in good faith more than having kids together.

Having kids alone is not enough evidence to support your claim for bona-fide marriage. How ever it is one of the solid evidence you can include. Technically, USCIS want to see your marital Journey since you had your two years green card. So kids are a result of that marital union. The reason a two year green card is given is because you had no long history of togetherness at the time of issue, the two years green card is a period of time the uscis is given you guys to record or document your marital journey. That is why they uscis is request you to update them with you marriage two years later. Basically the one to see your story. So your documents should have a life span of 2 years together. Normal couples will have joint account, lease or house tittle together, it possible to have kids within two years, travels, pictures ,friends who can provide affidavit declaring they know you guys and see your love life, etc..

Yeah, I get it but it doesn't make sense to me. I mean what is better evidence of good faith then a child.

If they did that, in my opinion it would be a discriminatory practice because some of us can’t have kids…. 🤷🏽‍♀️

its not a REQUIREMENT good lord.

plenty of people cant have kids. or dont WANT to have kids (like me) or older and a combination of the two  (hubby and i would also fall into THAT category)

no one is telling anyone what to do with their reproductive organs. it is however, solid evidence- just as MANY OTHER THINGS ARE.

Just to be clear, the  OP

posted that it’s an automatic approval if you have kids…I don’t consider having children a  solid  indicator of a bonafide relationship, If it were, there  wouldn’t be so

many single parents in this country. Also, it would not be fair to the childless for USCIS to say, “Oh, you have kids! Well, you are auto-approved”. I am aware the Lord is good.

do you think it will matter that our addresses are different on our IDs? should my husband pay for a duplicate? we literally just moved but My ID expires in November. My husband's ID does not expire until 3 years from now.

if you have enough other solid evidence, you might be ok, but personally i made sure to change mine after we moved so that when my wife got her driver's license, they would match

"In Texas, your address on a driver license or ID card must be changed within 30 days after moving to your new residence."  The expiration date doesn't matter.
