I hope it doesn't take that long, but even if it does, we're together! That's the important part.

Amen.  I recall the difficulty during the I-129f process.  At that time you had to wait AND couldn't be together.

Yes, and that was hard! On the bright side, it feels to me that every step we take, every application we file, and every interview we attend is an affirmation of our commitment to each other.  Every approval is a celebration!

They don't use the word "waived", because it's not actually waived. They're just able to reuse the ones you've already done, so you don't have to do it this time!

WOW, USCIS actually being less bureaucratic and using common sense for a change? I am impressed.

Really! And saving us a trip! They're getting all crazy, aren't they!

Just checked the tracking number: our petition packet has been signed for and delivered! The anxiety started to set in the moment we had shipped it off, and I was legitimately thinking "omg, what if it falls out of the box?!" this morning. 😵

I think we all feel that at some point. I was starting to put together a plan of what to do if that happens.

Thanks for commiserating, haha! Definitely feeling unsettled today, I might have to just get takeout for dinner this evening after work as I'm waaaaay too on edge.

I felt the same way! I watched the tracking continually, too, until I got the email.

Application arrived at the Phoenix PO Box. Now waiting for the credit card to be charged and to get a text notification.

Did you get your card charged? If so, how long after it was filed? Have you received your NOA yet? Thanks

I had that anxiety as well. We paid for priority express shipping with USPS on a Saturday and it was suppose to get there by Monday. Monday came and went, with no updates on where it was currently at. Hubby had take me to the movies to distract me 🤣. Got there the next day. But I remember thinking about how I was going to put everything back together again if they lost it.
