K1 visa packet came opened

Hello, I got my k1 visa packet but the glue wasn't strong enough and one of the sides is opened. The seal is intact tho. I emailed the consulate but it takes them a while to reply. I'm probably gonna have to send it back so they can fix it. My question is do I have to send everything back? Including both of my passports (An old one with my B1 visa and a new one with k1 visa)? Or just the one with the k1 visa will do.

I would wait for instructions from the embassy.  No use in trying to guess what they would want or what they would say.

Put some glue where it is open. If the seal is ok then i don'' t see any problems. Once you arrive in US, at the airport, they will open your package.

I think it's better to wait until you hear from the embassy just in case they wouldn't want you to fix it yourself. They are so specific in what they do want, why take a chance?
