Odd I had to have several vaccines to attend school in Georgia back in the 60s. So the thread title is rated 100% false

In order to understand the issue, one needs to read past the third sentence.  Not everyone does that.

Weren't those vaccines actually effective at keeping someone from actually catching the disease they are intended for?  Also, if one had chicken pox, mumps or measles as a child, wasn't there an exemption from the vaccine.  It is interesting how we call this Covid19 vaccine a vaccine, it really is a medical pre-treatment to avoid serious illness, but is not particularly effective at keeping people from actually contracting Covid19.  So all the discussion as to mandating this vaccine to protect others or to keep people at work is really gaslighting because if a vaccinated person still contracts Covid19, they are required to put themselves out of action.  As to the title of the thread, sure, it is a little misleading as it really should include the qualifier "for Covid19", but I think that is well understood.

Anyone who is paying attention to current events and uses a little common sense knows this is referring to the covid vaccine. That being said the headline could have been worded a little differently.

What definition you are using to claim that COVID-19 vaccine is not a vaccine? Can you cite the reputable source?

It's more of an mRNA gene therapy (the first of it's kind) but let's not split hairs here.

It is my own observation related to how the Covid jab does not actually keep people from contracting Covid unlike vaccines like the MMR, shingles, etc.  Most classical vaccine that we know of give some level of immunity to catching the disease, the Covid jabs function more like a medical pre-treatment to stave off severe reactions when catching the disease.
