Unfortunately only the government can be held liable and they use secret courts to make rulings on cases but at least it's something.

Nope. Don't see the benefit out weighing the risk. But al least if there is an FDA approved version widely available we are having a different discussion legally speaking regarding mandates (I would still oppose government imposed mandates however) versus mandating an experimental vaccine.

So basically the manufacturers can't be held liable for either one, so why is the only difference being the label on the bottle such a big deal. 

I get if you don't want to take. I am cool with personal choices.  But the " oh it's not FDA approved cause the current stock pile has the old label drum banging is absurd.

The thread is about kids in California going to school with a Covid  vaccine. You have been clear that you have school age children in California and you feel the vaccine is dangerous. I am trying to understand how you navigate the current vaccine requirements and how you feel the covid vaccine is distinct. You claim it is experimental, but it is now approved. No agenda, I truly want to understand.

So on August 22nd, it was experimental, but on August 23rd it was suddenly "approved" and now safer?  (Oh, and STILL not available for use, except under the EUA)

 

The reason most informed people don't trust is is the rush to get it into our bodies.  No animal testing.  No long-term studies.  No double-blind trials.  It was simply politicized into EUA use, and we won't know for a few more years just how safe it really is.

 

Some people have mild reactions to covid.  Others succumb and die.  That is the nature of the "bugs" we fight as humans.  I think covid has been harder on the older population more so than a natural virus due to the intent behind the manufacturing.  But just like younger, otherwise healthy people (no co-morbidities) have mild or no reaction to the EUA drugs, so, too, do they have little to no complications from covid.

Here's what I really don't get...

 

If you are vaccinated against covid, and are fortunate enough to not have had a bad reaction, and now are safe from covid, why would you wish to force your choice onto others?  I mean, if they are the "dumb ones" who are too scared to get the vaccines, they will most likely die first, and leave behind those who chose to get vaccinated, because they are protected.
