March/April/May 2020 Filers Thread (No interview scheduled)

Starting a new thread to track filers from the above month who are YET to receive an N400 interview appointment. From various discussion threads , it appears that individuals who applied during these 3 months are the largest affected group - largely forgotten. 

 

Let's try to get together and see what happens over the next few weeks  , identify recourse and report on any updates/changes to their respective case , that might be helpful to all.

In my case.

 

Applied on May 26, 2020 

Field Office: Newark , NJ 

Biometrics notification: Dec 30,2020

Biometrics done: Jan 26,2021 

 

Since January , I have attempted to call USCIS every alternate month with no real outcome. Occasionally a kind agent would put an enquiry on my behalf which would swiftly be responded by the Newark Field office as 'being within processing times' . Otherwise the standard agent reply has been essentially 'continue to wait'.

Good luck to everyone affected.  I read somewhere your files are locked up in the "NRC".  I think you may want to get your congress reps involved with this one.  All the best.

I assume you meant the Federal Records Center. 

Curious to know if any of the filers engaged immigration lawyer to get an interview appointment  and how that's worked out?

@roddie2k did you reach out to your congress rep?  Yes, i meant somewhere USCIS store files.  Someone had started a thread with this info.

Thank you I did see that thread..

 

I contacted my Congress rep a month back..just got a canned USCIS response: The case is within normal processing time. Once the case has been scheduled for interview, the constituent will receive an appointment notice in the mail at the current address on file.
