My husband received EAD approval April 4th and card was in hand April 9th. While we are excited it was sadly a standalone EAD... I'm sure like many of you wanting AP is high on the priority list too. My husbands father is sick and elderly so we are considering pushing to see if we can get AP approved as well.

Question for the group, has anyone seen any AP being processed independently in the last few months since EAD/AP was split for speeding up processing times?

Congratulations!! and to everyone else moving thru too! USCIS' processing times says its 8-13 months for APs from the time you applied - which is .5 months more than the processing times for EADs. so based on that I would guess you can see his AP come thru in 1-2 months, maybe?

After I completed my biometrics, my EAD and AOS status changed to "actively reviewing" but my AP status is "we received your application" and it hasn't changed since.

Has did my interview yesterday and it was relatively straightforward. Officer was fairly chatty and actually talked to my wife more than myself. He ended the interview saying he would recommend my case be approved but then said he can give no guarantee of timelines. I know this is probably standard language but his casual use of 'months' until GC in hand concerned me...guess I'll just have to wait and see.

Good news:

10/08/2021: Packet mailed
10/11/2021: Rec'd at Chicago Lockbox
10/13/2021: Text messages that case was rec'd
10/15/2021: Notices for i485, i130, i765, i131 (rec'd in mail 10/18)
10/16/2021: Biometrics scheduled for 11/10/2021 @ SF ASC (checked online)
11/10/2021: Status after Biometrics changed to 'Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS'
11/16/2021: I-693 Deficiency Notice (rec'd in mail 11/20)
02/23/2022: I-765 approved; card being produced
03/10/2022: Interview Scheduled
04/06/2022: Interview (@ San Jose FO)
04/15/2022: I-130 Approved (no status update, but approval letter posted)
04/16/2022: I-485 Approved (online)

Happy to be able to travel to Canada next month to see my family (worry-free). Thanks to everyone here for your positivity - hoping for quick resolution of all of your cases!

Hello,

Still waiting for my husband EAD and Green Card. We also filed in October 2021, Biometrics done November 12th, and still nothing. We filled to Chicago Lockbox, but our NOA say National Benefit Center. He wasn't able to get a Social Security nor Driver License, just waiting around.

Happy to share my husband got a notice his EAD is in the makings!
Hopefully we receive it in the mail soon, along with SSI and a notice for GreenCard interview is shortly after.

Happy to see that things are moving for others too! We can all finally relax and start living more freely

Still waiting here, although we filed end of October.  It's reassuring to see other AOS October filer receive their cards... Fingers crossed it's any day now...

I am still waiting, it's been more than 200 days since AOS filing. Hopefully, it is normal.

Congratulations everyone who got EAD or even GC. I am still waiting, it's been more than 200 days and at this point I am starting to panic. Although, lawfully app says it should arrive before end of July, but I did not expect it to be almost a year since filing AOS. I don't know if it's normal =(

Hi there, i am on the same boat as you, waiting close to 200 days, but we can only be patient. Seeing others get their EADs & GCs that filed in Oct, gives me a little boost to believe our cases are moving and we will get there soon. Patience is key, hopefully you can distract yourself with something in the meantime. Hope all is well!

Well, luckily I have a bunch of hobbies and after waiting for K1 approval for 18 months patience is not an issue 😂But sometimes of course I get a bit stressed if I start thinking about it. I checked CaseTracker and there are more cases "being actively reviewed" than approved. So I guess it's normal. But hopefully, we will hear something soonish.

Still waiting… I noticed on Informed Delivery today that we’re getting mail from USCIS, so I was worried. I looked on the USCIS website, and there is a note saying Request for Evidence was received (that they requested on November 16th and received our response from on November 24th!) last Monday and that it would be reviewed…..

Looking for an update from fellow filers as I have not received an appointment yet. How is everyone else’s timeline looking?

10/27/2021 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence.
12/29/2021 fingerprints relating to your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, have been applied to your case.

Thank you!

Congrats TedsGirl!!!!

I got my SSN as well today. However, I see that I should receive a mail from USCIS from the USPS email notification but I think my mailman lost it. I checked the USCIS website and it states that it is only a notification that EAD has been approved. Did your EAD card arrive in a separate mail from the I765 C09  Standalone Approval Notice? I was thinking it's ok since I have the  pdf copy downloaded from USCIS but I'm worried EAD card was attached to that as well. Did you receive two separate mails from USCIS?

Did you get your EAD in the end?

Don’t lose hope. One thing we all know in this process is the waiting game. Do what you must to stay active as much as you can, as difficult as I know that can be. Start counting your blessings as there are many even in the midst of all this. There are some who filed in 2019 as well as 2020 who are still awaiting news. I feel sad for them as I watch some who filed earlier this year already have interview dates scheduled.

One thing is certain, your turn in the line is coming🌻

Hello there! Looks like you accidentally posted in the wrong forum. As much as I’d love to be in the same place you are, we are the October filers for AOS not ROC😀 Hopefully a moderator can move your post to the right place🌻
