Its no Pinto but very nice. I read some blurbs about it. Supposedly Tesla like but much better. 500 mile range would make me comfortable on a road trip. Did he say 1000 HP? Listening as I type. I want one.

 

While we talking about cars. The American car industry is about to melt down. 19 LE Camry with 30K is as much as you can buy it for new. Its across all brands. Almost all dealers are charging over sticker and projected to be completely out of cars in October The logistics  problems are just getting worse. Part of the chip problem is automakers are using outdated chips and building methods and chip makers are not wanting to invest in infrastructure to build outdated Chips.

Yep. I mean have you bothered to look at the "new" dealerships right now? They all look like used car dealers with maybe 5-10 new cars on the lot at most.

Cyber I actually work at a Toyota dealership.  Yup we got about 12 on the lot. 3 of which are Avalons nobody wants. I just sold a Highlander that will not be here until Oct 27.

 

You can forget a discount off MSRP. 

 

Another dealer is asking 4k over on Seadans and 7k over on Trucks and SUV.

 

It's nuts right now. The coming meltdown is coming and not just in the car biz

Also another thing I am noticing is that some of the cars being delivered that are supposedly "top of the line" are missing some key features you would expect in a brand new Denali truck such as Automatic Starter, Trailering system package, and no heated 2nd row seats.

How many shares did you get in the IPO a few months back?  😀  I almost bit.  I think it dove for a while and it is now back around the IPO price.

Funny this was posted about the Lucid as I was going to post about the new Rivian EV truck and SUV.  I only watched this video about the truck.  I think they start at around 75k.  It is only 835 hp and 908 lb-ft of torque.  0-60 in 3 seconds.

 

I don't really care for the look for the truck.  More traditional would have been to my taste.  Some of the plastic looks cheap and likely to break.  The look might be OK for the SUV.

I see more people buying the Ford Lightening EV Truck over this or the upcoming Tesla truck as it looks more like a truck.

About 500.  Gonna start DCA buying monthly for a while I think.
