I really feel for you! It was so hard to come to VJ while I was waiting for my RFE, which extended my own process a month beyond what it should have been, and while I was always happy for the people who had gotten their NOA2s so speedily, there was always a pang of envy and a sense that the waiting would never end. It's not much comfort for you right now, I know, but the waiting will end. Take heart and keep your hope.

Conditions Removed! Ten-year green card received 6/24/2009. No more USCIS for a very long time.

Have faith you will get there soon.

Everybody here on VJ knows what this waiting game can do you. We are an elite group LOL We know what the stress of waiting and pain from being apart from your loved one is like. People who are lucky enough to have their loved ones with them have no clue of what we speak.

Thinking of you

Tara... just came here to say that I hope you are having a better day. *hugs*

This whole process is full of tension, worry, aggravations... and lots of other stuff thrown in... and we all understand and empathize with you.

I had to go to walmart for some office supplies... found a bouquet of balloons... bought them... and popped them... haha... had to vent some frustration... it actually felt good to yell and pop those balloons...

of course... people probably thought i was insane... hehe

and of course, this process almost makes you insane.

chin up sweetie... THIS TOO SHALL PASS...

*hugs again*

A poem i found which while i was in AR helped me feel just a little better. I read it when it was all to much.

For Melo,Ionescu and all you others feeling lost and down at the moment.

When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,

When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,

When the funds are low and the debts are high,

And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,

When care is pressing you down a bit-

Rest if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is ####### with its twists and turns,

As every one of us sometimes learns,

And many a fellow turns about

When he might have won had he stuck it out.

Don't give up though the pace seems slow -

You may succeed with another blow.

Often the goal is nearer than

It seems to a faint and faltering man;

Often the struggler has given up

Whe he might have captured the victor's cup;

And he learned too late when the night came down,

How close he was to the golden crown.

Success is failure turned inside out -

The silver tint in the clouds of doubt,

And you never can tell how close you are,

It might be near when it seems afar;

So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit -

It's when things seem worst that you must not quit.

o, hugs Tara! There's nothing I can say to make it better, but hang in there! Yours was a complicated situation that's probably taking a little longer to sort out.

Plus, remember what I've learned through observation: as soon as someone reaches the snappig point like this, NOA2 shows up within days.

Fingers crossed that this was your *last* rant required.

:)

m

meauxna is right about that. I had been having an awful week and was ready to have a breakdown I am sure when I get this call at 2:30 in the morning from my husband telling us that our I-130 had been approved. Actually I thought it was a dream .. which in a sense it was .. a dream come true. If you are at your breaking point it has to be forthcoming. I will light a candle for you today to bring you good things :)
