Hello everyone. I’m just reaching out to see what everyone thoughts are. It’s been 9.5 months now since my NOA1 and it’s starting to get frustrating because we are all still waiting on our approvals. Is the end in sight with at least the petition approvals for us august filers? Trying my best to stay patient everyday but sometimes it is hard. Thoughts and advice would be wonderful

Which Visa cartegory did you apply for and what was the NOA1 about? Did you file your petition via an attorney?

Have you contacted USCIS for update?

I am a USC petitioning for my husband. The NOA1 I received on Aug 31 2021 letting me know they have received my petition. Yes I filed via an attorney. I have been in the actively review stage since Sept 22 2021. I have contacted them for an update and all they tell me is that it is still within normal processing times.

Alright... Mine was file by my wife and field center Texas.

My case got approved after 308 days, approximately 10 months, although I had RFE for my marriage certificate which was submitted to the attorney before approval.

I know how depressing and traumatizing the waiting time feels.

Am awaiting my interview since last 4 months I got my case documentaryly qualified by NVC and sent to my country consulate.

Be patient, in less than two months you case will be approved.

You can download lawfully app to track your case easily instead of logging in to USCIS site anytime you want to check.

Okay. Mine has been at the California service center this whole time. I’m hoping it will get approved within the next month or two. It would be amazing if we are at the NVC stage by the time I go back and visit my husband in November. I’m just trying to be patient and hold out hope

Yea.... The key word is patient and going about your regular routine while checking for updates once weekly.

I know it's so frustrating to have been on the cue to reunite with our love ones.

The US immigration system has put me through a Master class in patient. After waiting for 4 years without reuniting with my wife and still waiting, I just gave up my anxiety.

I hope they do better by speeding up the process for IR1 applicants and petitioners.

I’m trying to be patient. I’ve been waiting 290 days so hoping to get my approval soon. It’s very hard🥺🥺🥺🥺

It's coming.  I know it is.

Perhaps if you have some pictures of you and your husband together from your recent visit, upload them.  It might make them move on your case.  I just uploaded 2 photos from our recent trip to Holland 2 days ago.  I also uploaded a photo of my boarding passes from coming to the UK on June 3.  I figured it can't hurt.

Any other updates from my august filers?

Nothing for me, but I keep seing September and even October PDs being approved in the VSC Facebook group I'm in. Quite frustrating when we filed August 3rd, but what can you do... I'm starting to consider filing the K3 to hopefully speed things up, but with our luck, they'd approve that and deny the CR1 🙃

When can you submit an inquiry into your case?
