Hi

Im b1/b2 visa holder , my visa expires this month 28th . So i entered usa yesterday for business meeting, do i have to return back as visa stamp says 28th , but cbp officer has stamped stating till 2022 march. Can i still stay till 2022 march , ive decided to fly back end of october this month. If anyone have experiences let me know Thank You

Also i need to know if anyone has invitation letter sample to i can get my visa renewed back home country . I come on and off to new york for business meetings not for sales or work. so i need a letter brief.

Visa expiry is to enter the US not to exit. It has no meaning after you are in the US.

Yes, however staying full 6 months on a business trip might create doubts for CBPs during next trip.

This is a good plan.

Whatever seminars/meetings you are attending, the organizer would just send you an invitation regarding the event, dates, and anything associated with it. That's it.

Letters are individual to the situation so there are no samples.

You can’t make up something to get a new visa. Generally if you have had a visa of the same type before and never violated conditions it should be easy enough to get a new one.

There is no format

I just need the format how its done.

No you don’t, if it really is a work or education or similar thing, whoever genuinely sends you an invitation letter will be doing it for others who need a visa invitation too and will know how it’s done.  I’ve had these before when I needed visas and I never told the companies the format, they always knew what to do.

If you are just renewing, you can simply say that sometimes you have business meetings and you have to have a valid visa. I've honestly never heard of a letter of invitation for someone that already has a visa and needs a renewal. For renewals you don't even get an interview, at least in my home country.

If you are having business meeting and travel as part of your employment, you can get your company or business in your country make you a letter saying that.

Aren’t you the same person who takes delight in pointing out that invitation letters are of no use for US visa applications and post a link from a US embassy or Department of State to buttress your claim?

A letter of invitation or Affidavit of Support is not needed to apply for a visitor visa.

Or perhaps now you will want to clarify that personal letters are what are of no use? 😁

It could be as simple as

You, @ceylonese.escape, are invited to attend the seminar/meeting/conference regarding "xxxx xxxx xxxx dxxx". The even will last for 4 days from 1/22/22 to 1/25/22 in Apple Campus, Cupertino. You will be required to pay the fee for the event and provide your own travel, lodging fooding OR Any expenses regarding the event fees, travel, lodging, and fooding are all covered by Apple, the great iphone 13 pro manufacturer.

OR it could be 3 pages long detailing all events.

PS: Had to throw it out there as i am responding from my new iphone.

A little girl would always hear her mama saying "I am fine, thank you" when asked "how r u?".

The girl gets pretty ill and is seen by a doctor. The doctor asks "How r u little girl, wat happened?". She replies, "I am fine, thank you".

Yes, you can stay for the duration of your I-94. However, as @arken said earlier, be mindful of how long you stay as this may cast a shadow on your intents the next time you apply for a visa.
