it totally makes sense..i agree with you..like i said above..since the embassy in Russia is half closed i would image they would understand but..i agree..i should just file i 130 the regular way...or maybe contact the embassies directly...

stupid question but...is there a way to bring/ask for a visa for the spouse to come to the US on a Visit? or thats out of the picture?

For what its worth... the "regular" way, which many of us do and have to do, could take only a year. I got through USCIS in less than 6 months, now waiting to be DQ at NVC (2ish months) and waiting for interview in Poland (another 2 ish months).

Found love, thought I wanted this path, two years later realized my partner was not worth all the stress 😁

Maybe I missed it among all these posts (if so, sorry) and you got another citizenship, but Russia is not an EU country, so neither you nor your spouse can simply move to Germany and establish German residency. Only EU citizens can do that. You only get German residency through employment- or family-based (e.g. German spouse) circumstances.
When you file for the spousal visa, both you and your wife have to provide addresses which you’ve lived at. So if you try to do DCF in Frankfurt or elsewhere, it might look to the embassy/consulate as if you’re jumping around just to qualify for DCF and skip the normal USCIS queue and processing times. Why move from Russia/Canada (sorry, I got lost somewhere) to Germany if you already have a job offer in the US on the table? Just a heads up there.
I really do have sympathy for your situation though with the Moscow embassy closure going on and hope you find something that works for you!

But she doesn’t just want to visit, does she?   It would be immigration fraud for her to come over on a visit visa and adjust status.   Plus, how would she even get an interview if the Moscow embassy is closed?

USCIS and DOS are well versed in the ways people try to avoid the queue.

If she can just visit while her i 130 is in progress why NOT it is a lot better than being apart,,dont you think? STOP Assuming.

I was asking to see if she could come visit WHILE her i 130 is in process!!!!!!!

She could get an interview at another embassy,,i dont know(hence the stupid question)

USCIS and DOS are well versed? sure they are :)

Many people visit during the process, I did.

She could also presumably visit you in Canada.

Sure, you can try for a B visa.   Odds are low unless she can show strong ties to Russia.  Good luck !

Other communications options:

Just a note: Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok are closed completely right now. (Or in "suspended status" as per the official site.) So, there's no real point in even bothering with those.

I would contact Moscow and then Warsaw. Warsaw might be willing to consider a DCF scenario for someone with an urgent reason if Moscow says no.
