K1 applicant is in the process of AOS and currently awaiting her interview. Have several questions:

1) Along with I-485, she sent I-765 and I-131. When she received her biometrics notice,  only I-485 and I-765 case numbers were listed on it. Doesn't I-131 require biometrics as well or will she receive a separate notice for that form?

2) As mentioned above, she's currently awaiting her AOS interview and that may take a long time. What may get processed BEFORE her interview? Will she receive her I-131 travel document for example? EAD document?

3) SSN is needed for a lot of things and she is still in need of one. She elected to apply for one on the I-765  form but that probably won't get sent out any time soon? what can she do?

When she entered the US, we tried to make an appointment with the SSA office but we were told we couldn't do anything until she has a green card. She is now past her 3 months K1 stay and all she has are notices confirming she applied for AOS and completed her biometrics.

Filed: K-1 Visa Country: Wales
Timeline

Friends waited 7 months for biometrics and just got EAD and Ap a month later. YMMV

SSN is the first thing a K1 applies for think I got mine in about 10 days but too late now so will need EAD.

1. No.

Because I765 and I131 comes together on a Combo Card, biometrics is only needed once.

That's why I131 is not listed.

2. Possibly her combo card.

Depends on how fast your local field office does I485 interviews.

If they are faster than the current projected combined I765/I131 timeline then she'll get her GC first and wont get a combo card.

If slower, Combo card first.

3. Nothing you can do now if I94 is expired as that's the only time you are eligible until you receive EAD or GC.

Many things you think you need an SSN for you actually don't.

Elaborate on what you "need" it for and we can provide answers.
