All my documents have been accepted, but now the NVC messages is asking me for proof of my income. I suppose the want to see a pay stub from my job in Japan? I do not know why this is since they have already my approved my proof of taxes here in Japan.

Due all my documents being accepted, even if I wanted to submit it, I can because I am not able to.

Is the portal just information me to bring a copy of paystub to the interview?

Any comments on this would be great.

Hi! I also received a message from NVC asking for my joint sponsort their w-2's.

When you click the ACCEPTED tab it re-directs you to a page where you can upload the documents same as when you uploaded the first time.

I hope that helps.

Hi Charmaine,

Thanks for the reply.  I don’t think I was clear so let me rephrase.

All my joint sponsor documents and wife’s civil documents and my documents were all accepted.

Once accepted, I received a message from NVC stated they needed my proof of income (i.e. I am currently in Japan working). I ended up submitted my most recent pay stub.

I was just curious on why this was asked after all document were accepted. On the other hand when I submitted my pay stub the status of accepted didn’t change.

Ashley
