How long is it taking NVC to review submitted document?

How long NVC taking to review the submitted documents? NVC processing time frame says 8 week but any actual reviews??

go to your portal 

check the timelines of other members from your country 

 

and remember that NVC does their work and after u r dq'd u wait for embassy to say they are ready for NVC to schedule the interview , so it may be months form dq to interview

look at the NVC Submissions July / Aug posts in the forum. 

 

Most recent submission we've seen reviewed are 8 July (on Sep 4th) and 19th July last week, so they are reviewing some cases ahead of what they are reporting but still many to be reviewed that are around the reported date, take the figures as a guide.

Check the NVC Processing times on the state department website.  Last Monday 20th September they were reviewing submissions on 8th July. Based on the last 3 weeks average review time is moving 4-5 days at a time. So use that to calculate how many weeks to get to your re-submission date. The NVC has a ridiculous system of when you re submit you go to the back of the line and is treated like any other first time submission. There are outliers for quicker reviews but that isn't the norm.
