N-400 case denied -- can you help me?

GOOD MORNING, last Feb / 10/2021 I applied for citizenship (for-N400), on Sept / 18/2021 was my interview. I passed the exam but my case was denied because they said that I sent my application too early.

I am a resident since May-11-2016.

Permanent Resident Anniversary Date:

Month 05- Day 11 Year 2021
 
Earliest Accepted Filing Date:
02/10/2021.


Do you think there was an error in the official denying me my application since it can be completed with 90 days before the 5 years? Earliest Accepted Filing Date:
02/10 / 2021. so says the uscis page.

You're right.  I remember seeing the issue a few times.  That is the reason I would always recommend filing a few days after the window opens.

I really don't see what difference waiting a day or 2 later makes. Just file a few days after the 90 days just to be sure. This is not a race. Haste makes waste.

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

It's the software glitch that several people had been suffering from when filed online up to a given hours on the very first day. Wherever the uscis cloud is based on, their timezone might me different. I guess not a lot of people (thousands and thousands) file it on that time period to trigger such sort of awareness to uscis.

 

It just became a $700 more expensive for you whether you appeal and win or apply for a new one.

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

12:30 PM is just after noon 

not a time zone dfference issue

 

he filed exactly 90 days so corretly

why would he need to appeal and pay?

 

totally confused here????
