DS-160 & I-485: Exact match for answers?

My wife has had a B2 visa since 2017; we traveled to the US twice.  Now, we are in the US, and want to file for an AOS.  She filled out the DS-160 online at the time that she got her B2, and it seems she didn't save the PDF.  We had a printed copy of it, which, of all the documents we gathered and triple checked, she left behind in China.  I'm not able to log into the State Department page because she doesn't remember the answer to her security question.  And of course, all of this is my fault... 🤣

In filling out the I-485, she watched a video in Mandarin, in which the creator warned that if the answers on your DS-160 and I-485 don't match up - "even if one letter is off" - it will make "big problems" and you will be rejected.  She's now panicking because we can't access the DS-160, and she doesn't remember how she phoneticized our Chinese address, or whether she put the English or Chinese name of our business, whether she put her parents' names as two or one word, etc.

Is this true?  It seems a bit heavy-handed to me, so I'm disinclined to believe it.

News to me now they will look at it but not for typo issues

Did she see that on a lawyers' or agents' website?

That sounds like a pitch to make her pay for their services.

When it comes to most of these forms, as long as it is fact, you will end up providing the same answers even without checking previous forms.

Now typos on the other hand are unfortunately a fact of life. We all make them.

For here DS-160, are the both of not able to located the invoice and case numbers? That is what you will need to log in
