My husband is here in the U.S and we are waiting for his SSN hoping it comes before October 1st so we can send AOS packet. His DS-3025 (medical) is dated May 12th 2021 he does not have his covid vaccine. Does he have to get his medical again due to the new vaccine mandate starting October 1st? Or is this form ok since it is not expired?

Why are you waiting to file?

We already filed for the ssn he is just waiting for the card in the mail and we were told since we already requested the ssn we have to wait for it before sending aos

Send the AOS as soon as you can. SSN is not necessary since the field says "if any"

He can still file without it since they didn't provide a Numident print out and he currently doesn't know it.

he entered US before the October covid was required

he should just get it on his own now as he may have to take new medical exam for the AOS and then,  yes,  he would need it there is 3 week period between the 2 shots

so,  just get it over with /  it doesn't even hurt

Who said he had a problem with the vaccine, that he didnt want it or that it even hurts? The problem is why should I be giving 400/500 dollars for a new medical when the one that was taken four months ago is still valid.

A SSN is not needed to file the adjustment of status package.

Nobody said to do the medical again now. Just talking about the vaccine so that in case USCIS request a new medical the vaccine is done and you won't loose time doing it before he can get the medical done ( again only in case they want it by the time of the interview).

The vaccine has become a highly charged political topic.  There was no requirement for the COVID19 vaccine when he came to the US on the K1 visa, his medical/DS3025 should be fine unless the IO at USCIS requests another medical exam a year or more from now, so no need to do another medical now.  I agree with the other posters, no need to wait for the SSC to file the AOS, whoever told you or implied you had to was wrong.

Good Luck!
