Hi all

How do you find out when the NVC has generated the DS 3032 and AOS bill? Will they update your message on the automated info phone line or do you have to sit and wait for something in the snail mail?

2007 June 05......NOA1 generated by VSC

2007 June 06......Check cashed by VSC!

2007 June 08......Touched

2007 June 10......Touched (on a Sunday? Whaaa?)

2007 June 12......NOA1 received !!!

2007 June 22......Petition Approved !!! NOA2 received (by email) Paper NOA2 mailed out

2007 June 24......Touched (again on a Sunday!)

2007 June 26......Case arrived at NVC. Case number assigned. Told to expect snailmail notice in 6-8 weeks

2007 July 06.......Paper NOA2 received in snail-mail from Vermont

2007 July 09.......NVC generated DS-3032 and AOS fee bill

2007 July 11.......Emailed Choice of Agent letter. Received auto-confirmation of email receipt from NVC

5/23/07: Paid AOS fee

6/7/07: Received IV bill

6/8/07: Paid IV bill

6/10/07: IV bill received by NVC

06/15/07: Sent I-864 Packet to NVC

6/28/07: Mailed DS230

7/16/07: Case complete!

Interview: 9/6/07@8:00 a.m.

9/7/07 Visa in hand!!

11/15/07: Green Card Arrives

Also, the messages on the automated system are updated on Monday late late night / early Tuesday mornings. Basically call on Tuesday mornings to find out. If it doesn't update, stay tuned and repeat same bat time same bat channel the following week.

02/17/2007 - I-130 Express Mailed to VSC via USPS. (ETA 2/19/2007)

02/22/2007 - I-130 received by VSC.

06/12/2007 - NOA2 approval email received!!!

06/15/2007 - NOA2 letter received in the mail.

06/19/2007 - NVC receives case and assigns a case number!

08/27/2007 - CASE COMPLETE!!!!

09/06/2007 - Case forwarded to Sydney

09/14/2007 - Wife receives Packet 3. Received NVC letter confirming case forward to Sydney.

10/26/2007 - Interview - VISA GRANTED!!!!! WOOO WOOO!!!!!!

11/18/2007 - Enter the US via LAX (POE). No issues thankfully. 20 minutes of processing.

11/30/2007 - Welcome letter (two of them) received.

12/19/2007 - CR-1 Green Card received.

09/23/2009 - Express Mailed Removal of Conditions application

09/24/2009 - USPS confirmed delivery to VSC

09/29/2009 - Check cashed by USCIS

10/01/2009 - Received NOA I-797C dated 09/25/2009

10/10/2009 - Received Biometric appt letter for 10/29/2009

10/29/2009 - Biometrics taken. Whole process took about 40 min including the wait

Oh my gosh, you're right! I forgot about that. I called them first thing in the morning when I woke up and was all sad to hear they hadn't generated the DS-230. I'm sure I'll get the message tomorrow morning. :dance:

Yes, usually, if anythign generates (generating DS 3032, AOS Fee bill), you will be able to find it out from automated phone message on Tuesday morning.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview
