Hi everybody,

I called the DOS today and they gave us an interview and medical date/time finally! The interview is on September 10 at 0730am. And, the medical is on August 30th. Then, I went onto the USEM site to check if our case has been updated, and it hasn't been updated. Just want to post and update everyone here about any movements going on at the USEM. We are also waiting for our dates, but site still says case number not found on list, we may have to call DOS then, are they open 24/7? im just excited to hear the good news, we almost have the same timeline so i hope we'll get our sched too wooooooooohooooooooo... Sept. sched isnt bad since we're thinking of october because of what they say "backlog" neway thanks for sharing the good news to us!! :dance:

I really am not sure how NVC schedules interview dates for IR1 applicants like me...it seems that K1 applicants get appointments much easier and faster...I got my case completed on July 6 and i am clueless if I can expect for an aug or sept interview...

U may also want to try calling the NVC and see if they got something for ur case...they might know if u have already been scheduled an interview date...wish u'll have the good news!

Thanks so much! I wish I knew more about the IR1 process, but hopefully you'll get an interview and medical soon! Have you tried calling the Department of State? You probably have done so. Anyway, I hope you and everyone here will get an Interview/Medical time soon. Take care.

since DOS is open on weekdays only, we may have to wait until monday, but still im just excited to know that somebody got a sept interview, means we may be on the list too... i tried calling Manila embassy too, but geeez they are only open on weekdays too i forgot so lets wait and see on monday

Got to talk to Loraine this morning and she gave us our interview date of Sep. 11 at 730am... and i asked her whats our medical exam schedule and she told me i can have it when i rec the packet 4.... so i think im gonna have it 3 weeks early w/ or w/o the packet, i can pick it up at SLEC anyway so i wont worry about that... I asked why the schedule isn't available thru IV schedule site yet and she said they are just releasing interview sched starting last fri and haven't encoded them yet on to the site (lots of it).. so everyone feb/march filers, our schedule is out!!! :dance:

does it mean USEM is still releasing skeds until now?until when do u think they are releasing these appointments?

Oh, i just checked IV schedule (t'was down for 2 days) and its back up but we dont have our schedule yet ... I dont know if they will even release a September sched. because of backlog.. Lets see and find out in a couple of days...

What link are you using to check? I talked to the embassy yesterday and no new appointments yet.

I call DOS today and found out that my girl has a medical Aug. 30, 2007 and interview date schedule on Sept. 10, 2007. She told me that USME sent her package last july 14. I did try check the visa interview site but it wont show any.

Anyway, at least I talk to a real person and mention that she got her medical and interview. So excited now to be together. Any body has same interview date Sept. 10, 2007?

Congrats Dianne!! Finally.... We've got the same sched so im hoping to see you there, maybe we can have same med. exam ill be doing it early anyway...... :dance: We're getting there, few more steps wooooooohooooooooo....
