Is not getting an RFE a good sign?

We applied in February, got my biometrics in August and have my interview next week. Things have gone relatively faster and we didn’t get an rfe though since we’re a newly married couple we didn’t have much of evidence, but submitted all the important ones like insurance, credit card statements, text screenshots, pictures etc.

 

If we didn’t get an rfe then does it mean that the evidence was enough and that we seem fine at the outset. 
 

We have updated evidence now like new Insurance, Lease, new credit card statements, social media pictures, tax returns, utility bills.

What kind of interview?  You posted under IR-1/CR-1, but your post content looks like it might be an adjustment of status.

Hello, yes it’s Adjustment of status marriage based. PD February end, biometrics august & status changed from read to be scheduled to interview was scheduled in 1 week. No RFEs.

From what status are you adjusting ?  Tourist Visa?

A RFE can happen at anytime up until you get the official approval notice.

Bring the updated evidence to your interview, the agent might want to add it to your file, and in case there was an RFE -which can happen AT the interview- you would have some documents with you.

The final decision on whether the evidence of bona fide marriage relationship is enough or not will be made by the USCIS officer at or shortly after the AOS interview.  RFEs are sometimes sent earlier in the process for lack of sufficient evidence, but not always.  Definitely take the additional evidence to the AOS interview.  Good luck!

So if we didn’t get the RFE then it means the first time what we sent was sufficient for the time being? We definitely have a lot more evidence now.

The interview Officer is the SOLE green card approval authority based on the whole situation.  Regardless of whatever USCIS has done to date.  If you have additional evidence, take it to the interview.

😟😟 so I’m gathering née evidence for nothing!? We have all the originals and other evidences asked for in the notice. I’m inside the US so no NVC for me.
