Thank you so much.

The second round trip to London this week after the medical (train straight after work!). It’ll be pretty tiring but worth it in the end.

Thank you! Had the interview and medical yesterday, all went well, but it was a very long day.

We got approved yesterday! Had our medical on the 27th of September and they had his medical there.  My husband said it was a really fast and simple interview with three questions asked and then the guy said “have a great thanksgiving in San Diego. I’ll approve your visa”

Approved! My husband went in 30 minutes before his interview time and was out 5 minutes before his interview time so it was a very speedy process!

Approved pending medical

(I have vaccinations booked in for Friday 15th)

 

Super simple process as long as you have everything they asked for.

I think it was 3 or 4 questions - but honestly she was so lovely and conversational it didn’t feel like an interview. She asked what my husband currently does, where and when we met and who my sponsor was. We even had a laugh a few times while chatting.

Appointment at 11:30am, got there at 10:20, got told it was too early so I wondered around for a bit, got something to eat and drink….spilled coffee all over myself , what a great start 🙂

 

Anyway sat down inside about 11am and waited for my number to be called, first it was a lady who took my civil docs and then told to sit and wait for number to be called for the actual interview. 
 

Got to the interview window and was asked to tell the officer about me and my husbands relationship and what does he do for work in the USA. And that’s it, he said “I don’t think I need any more docs from you so I’ll give you back the civil docs” and then told me I was approved and kept my passport and told me I can collect it in 2 weeks. (Hopefully sooner…)

 

Finished about 13:20. Lots of waiting as it was quite busy.

My CEAC Status changed to “Issued” today and I’m so very relieved at last, now I can finally get to packing and planning everything.

 

Thank you all for your kind help, it is very much appreciated and was incredibly helpful through this painstakingly long process!
