Funny you changed you wording

 

A handful of states require a BSN, but the lion share only require ADN if educated in USA.  If you are a international Student then most if not all state boards require a BSN degree.  

 

Whether or not a 2 years program is tough is just your opinion.

LOL!!!!! I changed no wording at all.  I added my experience as an RN.......only.

 

Yes, what I said is my opinion......an opinion from personal experience as an RN.

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I think North Dakota was the only state which required a BSN back when I was practicing......but that has changed.

I remember hearing that back in nursing school, and we laughed, because we all knew we'd be fine not moving there 😉

 

Btw, totally agree with what you said about nursing school.  I worked much harder for that degree than I did for my BS in biology.
