While others are freaking out over vaccine requirements at Saint Luke's.  We have much more serious issues about Saint Luke's to concern ourselves with. Like, is there parking around there in the morning???  My wife an stepdaughter are going Tuesday morning and we figure it's best if she just drives but we are less confident about the parking situation.  Robinson's Place looks like it might be an obvious place to park, but their appointment at SLEC is at 7:00am and the mall would not be open yet so maybe the parking would not be either.  We are also trying to make this a dry run for them getting to the Embassy interview at a later date which is scheduled for 6:30am.  So does anyone know about parking situation around there???

Robinson's would not be an option as the guards wont let you in that early.  Although there are office towers there, the workers all have special stickers for the cars to enter early and park.

In the past I have used the Pay Parking at Ocean Park.  Its open 24/7 and is a 10 minute walk to the Embassy.  I think that would be your best option.  Fees are posted when you driving in.  Also this was done all pre-pandemic.  I would think the parking garage is still open but cannot confirm that it is during the pandemic.

Another option may be the service road that runs parallel to Roxas.  This is a little more tricky though as some spots are reserved for the businesses next to them.  However, there are stretches on the service road where buildings have closed down and typically early in the morning there are plenty of spots to park.  You need some change in case someone decides to "watch" your car.  Given the circumstances, I would probably pay the guy more than usual up front and then something when you return.  It will insure you have some kind of security especially in that area.

Where is she coming from?  The easiest option is taking a Grab but Im not sure where she is starting the journey from.

The United States is now a country obsessed with the worship of its own ignorance.  Americans are proud of not knowing things.  They have reached a point where ignorance, is an actual virtue.  To reject the advice of experts is to assert autonomy, a way for Americans to insulate their increasingly fragile egos from ever being told they're wrong about anything.  It is a new Declaration of Independence: no longer do we hold these truths to be self-evident, we hold all truths to be self-evident, even the ones that arent true.  All things are knowable and every opinion on any subject is as good as any other.  The fundamental knowledge of the average American is now so low that it has crashed through the floor of "uninformed", passed "misinformed", on the way down, and now plummeting to "aggressively wrong."

I just looked up the Pay Parking at Ocean Park.  That looks perfect.  Thank you!!!  They don't have Grab in her area but we know drivers from when she made runs to NAIA.  But really it is just so much more convenient for her to drive herself since she can.  It would also give her someplace to stash her phone when she goes in the Embassy.

Yes, thats the place I used to use alot when in that area of the city.  However, I have not been there since the pandemic so I dont know the current situation.  It should be open though as I know office workers over in Malate/Ermita would park there as well.  Also H2O Hotel would use it.
