RoC Interview after AoS interview

I've seen at least one case where someone was approved without an interview, despite the status tracker saying their case was ready to be scheduled for an interview.

I also know of one person who waited 14 months for an interview. At the interview, the officer told the couple they got an interview because he literally just needed to clarify one detail on the petition in person LOL. It was a 2 minute interview, with 14 months waiting. 🤔

WAC, didn't change.  But case was transferred to NSC back in January 2021

I think at some point WAC transferred some cases to NBC to get rid of some workload and get them faster processing, thread:

These cases were sitting in WAC long time and after a short time transferred to NBC, they are approved without interview, so I don't think your being transferred to get you interview, and status probably got updated just to transfer your case. It will still probably be waived imo.

Removal of Conditions

02/06/2021: Filed and package sent

02/10/2021: Received by USCIS

03/18/2021: NOA 1

07/01/2021: Biometrics waived

09/27/2011: Case approved, no interview (K1 visa)

Service Center: WAC

My case was transferred to NBC back in Jan, 21. It's been a while since the last case update, and now I got "case ready to be scheduled for interview." Idk..

Not the best feeling, really thought it would be waived

It's time to get prepared! There are no guarantees in this process. Do you have pending N-400 in addition to I-751? Or you haven't filed it?

Anyone who gets a 751 interview in this current environment should be concerned. I don't believe the "random" interviews are a thing at the moment. It would be more likely you didn't have enough "compelling" evidence or there are some fraud indicators. If you read excerpts from the USCIS handbook it actually spells out when a 751 interview is needed and fraud indicators is the main one. And if you happen to get a second 751 interview...lawyer up, you are in for a very bad time. Good luck ya'll
