Hello all,

My petition for my wife was approved about 2 years ago and we've been in a holding pattern ever since. We're just not ready to push the paperwork out of NVC and finish the process. Life is too uncertain in America and very stable for us right now in Asia.

We are considering visiting my parents just after Christmas. It's been 4 years since I've been home.

Is there any regulation or policy that will prevent my French wife from entering on the VWP for a 6ish week stay in Texas?

Obviously, looking for best practices here and don't want to jeopardize her future immigration status.

No immigration related policy to worry about.  COVID might be another matter.  Too soon to know.  Things change.

Thank you!

About a COVID policy, currently she can enter the US b/c she's the wife of a US citizen, even though most from Europe are currently barred. Is there any additional policy that you can foresee? I suppose a vaccination requirement could always be in the cards.

I don't know. I'm not a politician. 😉
