Should I print the evidences that I uploaded online to my N400 application and take them to the interview? Or only the new evidence plus the original marriage certificate and original proof of citizen of spouse?

We just brought the originals of everything we submitted, they have copies. Didn't bring any new evidence. Didnt even ask for any of that stuff. Do what the letter says to do and youll be fine.

Thanks.

I took the originals and followed exactly what the letter said. However the official did ask me for any sort of proof I had of my marriage (since I did it based on 3 year marriage to a US citizen). She literally said it "since it is based on 3 year marriage may I have any supporting docs". I thankfully had the joint bank statement for 2021- that was all I took with me, she was fine with that. Ive read in this thread no additional docs are requested, I on the other hand had that "luck" and got asked for more.

Just got my interview schedule letter (for July) - 5 years rule

My wife and I have interviews on the same day, but at different times.

Is that common? Is there a way to have the interview done at the same time? Or asking that might postpone the interview date

Thanks

@jjoe123 - N400 applications are considered and evaluated individually.  The scenario you are running into is very common.  I'd suggest both of you take your interviews at the time mentioned in the notice. There is no good reason to try to mess around with interview dates and times unless you have a true emergency. Even if you both were given the same time, it's mostly going to be conducted by different officers anyways.

I see, thanks.

I guess we will keep it like this then. It is just more convenient arriving together to USCIS, but I guess it is better not to mess with USCIS 🙂

Btw,

What tax documents should we bring? When checking IRS website, there are both tax returns and tax accounts (which show the 0 balance).

Also,

A weird question - on USCIS website the Estimated time until case decision changed from 6 months to 12 months. On the other hand my interview was just scheduled to next month (meaning Auth ceremony will probably be in August/September).

Is there any meaning/reason why the estimated time was changed?
