Hey everyone,

I realized that I don’t have a certified copy of my divorce decree but only a print out of it from what my lawyer emailed to me.

My N400 interview is already scheduled this coming Tuesday. I am applying under the 5 year rule. What should I do at this point? Any tips?..

Hi everyone, I had commented before but just wanted to give a little update, my interview was scheduled! (for Jan 18th 2022)

-filled Oct 9th

- biometrics waived Nov 1st

-case being actively reviewed by USCIS on Nov 1st as well.
-interview scheduled Dec 14th.

i applied on the first day I was eligible under 3 year marriage rule (Oct 9th) but the submitted date on the website shows Oct 8th. I read it happens to some people so I’ll update on that situation after the interview!

Hello, me again,

i had my interview yesterday (January 18th) and passed, just waiting for a date for the oath ceremony now. the officer said more or less 2 months of waiting at the moment to take the oath.

As for my date problem,

( i filled on October 9th, first day eligible, but it was showing that I submitted my file on Oct 8th on my portal)

i didn’t have any trouble. The officer said he could see I submitted on the right day, regardless of what the uscis website was showing.

i remember reading others were in the same situation and were worried, so in the end no need to worry about that!😊

Interview Was Scheduled January 11, 2022

Interview date will be March 1, 2022.

I am so excited I could scream. I wasn't expecting it to be this fast as it showed an estimated completion time of 15 months on my USCIS page. I have already ordered some flash cards on amazon to help me prepare for the questions I may be asked. This journey is almost over and I am so grateful to God.

Wishing myself and everybody else luck!

Hi!

Today I had my citizenship interview, but haven’t received a final decision yet.

I applied under the 3-year rule (by marriage to a US citizen). Unfortunately, they weren’t prepared for the interview and didn’t check all the evidence I submitted. The officer was young African-American lady, absolutely unemotional, like a robot.  But the good thing she was a native speaker and spoke without any accent, absolutely clear.

After 6 questions, reading and writing tests (easiest I’ve ever had), we went through the application. I wanted to change my first name (remove one letter), but I was told they have new rules and this is impossible anymore (only through the court). The officer asked me most of the Part 12 questions. She rephrased the question about the tax return, so listen carefully.  No definitions, no additional documents (except  ID, Green Card & Passport).

The interview lasted about half an hour, we spent another 30 min in the waiting room and 30 min in line to enter the building.  My husband was allowed to be with me all the time except for the interview itself.

As soon as anything changes in my case, I’ll update the information.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.

My timeline:

10/18/2021 - submitted my application online;

12/17/2021 - the interview was scheduled;

01/24/2022, 7:45 am - interview (a decision cannot be made yet).

Hi everyone, I filed my N-400 October 13th 2021 (based on 3y) and had my bio done November 8th 2021, no word since. Today got email that my I-751 is got bio accepted and ready to schedule my interview.....Now i am wondering if they will do separate interview for my 751 or they might conduct one interview for both I751 and N-400. If you guys ever heard or had similar situational  please advice should I expect dual interview. Thank you!
