Hey guy, I was wondering if anyone could help me. I'm at the stage where I gather evidence before I go to my interview. I see that a lot of people have gathered evidence of "ongoing relationship" even though the list of requirements does not say you should. I have questions:

  • Does providing proof of ongoing relationship matter if you had already done that in the I-129F application?
  • If it does matter, can you use pictures of your fiance in the past? (like old photos of you together)  because I have not seen him in 16 months since I sent my file.
  • When you guys are providing these evidences, are they only meant to be photos of you guys since you sent the file? like the time waiting? or can it be photos from any time
  • Also, what other things do you out in the section "proof of ongoing relationship"?

Thank you :)

The Consular wants to see proof that your relationship is legitimate and has continued since submitting you I-129F. If you have not seen each other in person, I would suggest taking copies of emails, text messages, call logs etc. Anything that will show them that your relationship is sincere and has continued since filing.
