USCIS change of address confusion

We recently moved and would like to update our new address. I am confused on whether the AR-11 form needs to be mailed or not? The USCIS website states it doesn’t however, the instructions on the form say once it’s completed to mail it.

There are two versions. Online and paper by mail.

If you do it online, you don't need to mail it.

If you mail it, you don't need to do it online.

Read the instructions for your method of choice, not both.
