Hello!

 

What does the case status "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS" means for forms I-485 and I-765? It showed right after biometrics.

 

Below my timeline. 

Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS	August 24, 2021
We scheduled you for a biometrics appointment	July 31, 2021
We received your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, and sent you a receipt notice.	June 23, 2021

Same status for my wife right after biometrics appointment. Did your status updated yet?

Still nothing. I found in other pages that it can take from 30 to 60 days after that status to get the approval, but I am not sure this is true.

Same here in San Antonio.  About 70 days later, interview scheduled, 5 weeks later.

You need to go through an interview at your local office before being approved for AOS. Depending on your office, it can take from a few months to well over a year to get the interview scheduled.

My lawyer had mentioned 6 months from filing (receipt date)

That's awesome!! Congrats!! I thought the EAD comes before Interview? Did you get the EAD?
